The 20th of November.

5 years, 10 months, and 27 days.
2158 cycles of dawn and night. Of Breakfasts and Dinners. Of Good Morning and Good Nights.

They say time is the best doctor. That heals your innermost wounds that were once throbbing with blood, tears and anguish.

It seems like this drug called time isn't working for me. A stronger dosage is needed.

Making my way downtown, walking fast, faces pass and i'm homebound.

Weekly encounters with your purposeful glances away from mine. The oddity instinct within us still feels exactly the same as it was to the days of 7:15 assemblies. The smell of honey that greeted me in a red plastic bottle was ever so surreal in my mind, tantalising my sense of smell.

Tonight is the 2159th Good Night. I hope there will not be a 2160th. For it's my turn to find a 1st. A brand new 1st.

Ode To Art

Ode To Art is one of the largest art galleries in Singapore and Malaysia. The gallery offers a diverse range of original paintings, sculptures from emerging contemporary artist around the world focusing on China, India, Vietnam and Singapore.

Commissioned to do up their rebranding, we literally gave out the art pieces they sold - on a postcard. Banking on the insight that art buyers were a selected few and would most likely know each other, the postcards served both as a vehicle for customers to spread the word on the new art pieces and also enabling them to see the art pieces without actually going down to the gallery.

DIGITAL: Animal Asia Foundation, Saving Moonbears, Stop Bear Bile Usage (WIP)

With a target audience of 45 to 65 year old western women, we really had an uphill task doing our comms digitally as we had to keep in mind their technological limitations in terms of navigation.

Nonetheless, the brief was cracked! =)

Electronic Direct Mail One, Nice Packaging hides hygiene of bear bile
A horizontal scrolling EDM was sent out and as consumers
opened the EDM, the first thing they saw was a moonbear
trapped in a cage in unsanitary conditions.
 
Copy forming a tube out of the bear's exposed catheter
then leads the consumer to scroll to the right and reveals
that the medicine that they have been consuming all along 
actually comes from an unhygienic source. 

Call to action was to put a stop to consuming bear bile and drives to main site(below).




Electronic Direct Mail Two
A visually striking EDM of a life-sized Moonbear was sent out and consumers
could then click onto the link to the main website(below)


















Main Site 
Upon reaching the site, consumers could then use the navigation
on the left to zoom in and out to see the condition of a trapped moonbear.















Upon zooming all the way out, it reveals that they are almost
5000 moonbears trapped in these torturing conditions.
Call to action was then to donate money to free these moonbears.
















We also took over Wiki and branded it with Animal Asia Foundation content. Pictures, live feeds from Jill's(the founder of AAF) blog and also podcasts were added.

DIGITAL: Unifem Maids Day Off Campaign(WIP)

To persuade Singaporeans to give their maids a day off weekly, we put them in the shoes of maids by using our cheeky email generator..

Consumers were able to select the respective names, 
companies, designations and reasons to sabotage their
friends to work over the weekends.













An email was then generated and sent to the respective inbox..















Upon further reading, consumers would then realise that
it was actually a trick sent by their friends to help spread
the message to give domestic maids a day off weekly.

They could then help to spread the message by tricking 
other friends using the email generator.

DIRECT MAIL: Stanford Memory School Namecard

Teachers of Stanford Memory School had their namecards done up in an actual post-it note, driving home the message that they could help improve your memory.

DIRECT MAIL: Polaroid Instant Camera

To drive home the message that Polaroid had the ability to  produce instant pictures, a die-cut of a Polaroid film was sent out to consumers. 

They could then use the die-cut Polaroid film to see through and create instant images.
